Join us in Elizabeth City for video replays of popular NCADA seminars from 2018.   

The Ethics & Substance Abuse seminar "Doing What's Right" will provide 2.0 hours Ethics/Professional Responsibility and 1.0 hour Substance Abuse/Mental Health credit.  This Ethics block will be held in the morning.  Highlights include:

  • The Importance of A Mediator to Have Subject Matter Expertise (1 hour certified mediator credit)
  • New Tech & the Ethical lawyer: Trends & Challenges
  • A 1-hour substance abuse/mental health topic

The afternoon session, "Things You Need to Know," will provide a review of important decisions in 2018 followed by sessions discussing Cyberlaw and Mitigating Risk.  This session will provide 3.5 hours of general credit and .75 ethics credit.  Highlights include:

  • Civil Case Law Update 2018 (summer and fall presentations)
  • Cyberlaw & Best Practices
  • Understanding & Mitigating Risk in a Digital Age (ethics)
