The Use of Technology in Investigations

This presentation is intended to highlight technological tools and techniques available for investigations for attorneys defending a variety of litigation matters. This presentation is not all-inclusive, but given that technology is commonplace in every aspect of our lives, understanding the role technology plays in investigations is vital to every attorney. Technology can assist with investigations including fire, explosions, insurance fraud, surveillance, traffic accidents, cyber-related forensics. Retrieving data from cell phones, computers, appliances, and commercial security & fire protection systems is vital.
