The 2023 Winter Workshop will be held Friday, February 10th and will once again be entirely virtual, allowing you to earn CLE credit from the comfort of your home or office. As always you can look forward to quality speakers, substantive information, and last minute credit hours.
This year’s program sessions will provide credit hours on ethics, mental health, and technology. Topics include a Pivotal Decisions by the NC Appellate Courts in 2022 by Dixie Wells, Ellis & Winters; an update by Peter Bolac, Assistant Director of the NC State Bar on recent and pending ethics decisions; Jeremy Rakes, MSW, Director of the Alabama Lawyers Assistance Program will present for the mental health hour; Susie Silver, The Diversity Movement, will share actionable DEI strategies; and, Professor Kevin Lee, NC Central University School of Law, will discuss what you need to know about the Metaverse and AI. Wrapping up the day is an Encore Live Presentation of "The Use of Technology in Investigations" by the experts with YOUNG & Associates.
