The Short End of the Stick: Construction Defects in Wood Buildings

Summary: This one-hour course will introduce attendees to new, engineered lumber products and the building codes that impact their use. Attendees will learn about new lumber products and, through case studies, learn how different types of construction can affect these products. At the conclusion, the attendee will have a better understanding of recent construction defects encountered due to the use of newer lumber products and how this can impact insurance and legal liability.
